Westchester Great Books Fall 2025 Discussion Series -December

Join us for monthly stimulating discussions of selections from great world literature. Each discussion will be guided by a trained leader who may ask questions but not answer them. Using the ‘shared inquiry’ method, readers explore their understanding of a thought-provoking work of literature or philosophy in a well-conducted discussion, allowing participants to reach a level of insight not often achieved when reading alone. Readings are from the Great Books Foundation’s Standing Down anthology, available from the foundation: http://www.greatbooks.org. Copies may be available through your local library.

This month’s discussion will cover Reporting the War in Tunisia by Ernie Pyle

This event will be held at the temporary library location, 555 Pleasantville Rd. To register and receive meeting information, please email your name and phone number to Sally Scudo: sas2460@gmail.com
