Does the Library provide outreach?
The Briarcliff Manor Public Library extends beyond the walls of our beautiful little building on Library Road.
North Hills
Each month, a team of library staffers put together a curated collection of books to bring to the Community Room in North Hills where they meet with residents who may find it challenging to travel to the library. We listen to the readers’ desires for their next great book, work to match them with something in the selection at hand and take notes to inform the list that will prepared for the next meeting.
The Club at Briarcliff Manor
Briarcliff Manor Public Library staff partner with the leaders of The Club’s book club and help them obtain sufficient copies of the month’s selection. Our reference librarian provides one-to-one help with the e-book application Libby so that readers always have another great choice on the way. Weekly shipments back and forth between the Library and The Club make it possible for residents who do not drive to have access to all the Library materials they desire.
Outreach is also available by request to local cardholders who are homebound.
Can I donate to the Library in memory of a loved one?
A gift in honor of a friend or in memory of a loved one is a beautiful way to commemorate an occasion. Whether you want to commemorate a milestone, celebrate a special occasion, or honor a lost loved one, your gift will touch the lives of people throughout the community. Please go to the website for the Friends of the Briarcliff Manor Public Library and make your gift in any amount.
