ACTIVITY-OF-THE-DAY/WEEK ARCHIVES
Is your family looking for ways to keep the kids from getting bored and to keep them away from their screens? We found tons of activities that are engaging, fun, and don't require leaving your house or yard. We had an activity newsletter over the spring and summer and sent science experiments, games to play around the house, adventures for the yard, and craft/art ideas. We provided ideas that work for a range of ages- from toddlers to preteens. We sent an idea a day last spring and weekly ideas around a common theme this summer.

CONNECTING CAREGIVERS
Zoom series for caregivers of children up to 30 months
Tuesdays at 10:45 - 11:30 am: January 12 - March 9.
Register now for this special Zoom series with the aim of connecting local caregivers/parents of children ages 2 and under (birth to around 30 months). Each meeting begins with a very brief presentation by the children's librarian. This may include anything from a book recommendation or song demonstration to a you-and-the-baby exercise idea or a sign to learn for baby sign language. This is followed by a quick guided "ice breaker" for all participants to get to know each other. Most of the meeting is reserved for an informal discussion/chat amongst participants. A different suggested "topic" is introduced at each meeting. Participants may chat about this topic, or simply about anything related to their common experience.
