Teens Win Free Books
It's that simple. This is for everyone entering 7th through 12th grade. Every time you have read for a couple of hours, whether you finish a book or not, come tell the library staff a little bit about it and then pick out a free book to keep. If you prefer not to chat with staff, you can write a short review of what you've read instead and submit the review in exchange for the free book. (The review will be posted on our website here: BMPL Reads & Reviews.)
OR if you love to read and want to win books but won't have time, or won't be around, to come to the library this summer - you can sign up online here: online summer reading program. Create a username and password and record your reading on your page. Every time you read one book, log on and submit a review via your page -- then you will qualify to win a book. You can collect your prize books at the end of the summer but no later than August 26th.
The fine print: you cannot win more than one free book per week; and of course graphic novels/manga DOqualify.
